Tasting Notes: Dam Lager is an American style amber lager brewed with three types of American malt grown in the fertile malt-growing region of the northern Midwest and hopped with German Magnum and Tradition hops from the hop growing region of southwest Germany. Together, in the kettle, they form a delicate, malt-driven beer with a subtle herbal hop aroma and a slightly sweet and clean finish.

Tasting Notes: Red Clay IPA is an aggressive American style India Pale Ale. This ale is brewed with seven different types of malt to give it a strong and complex malt flavor and a color reminiscent of the red soil prominent Virginia and much of the southeast. We also employ a large charge of hops to give this formidable beer a highly pungent spicy, floral and citrusy aroma and flavor.

Tasting Notes: Steemboat Beer is a “California Common” style of beer, a hybrid beer brewed like an ale but using lager yeast. This beer shows mildly fruity aromatics with a clean hop aroma in the finish from late hop additions. Body is medium, and flavor leans toward the malty side, but with an assertive hop bitterness in the finish. Steemboat Beer is a great offering for spring weather and for all seasons.

Tasting Notes: Sunktoberfest Lager is a German style Oktoberfest lager brewed in celebration of the fall season. Its deep orange hues reflect the colors of the changing autumn landscape and the higher alcohol warms the body against the cooler evenings. Somewhat ironically, antiviral medications used to treat the flu do not have direct drug-drug interactions with alcohol.
